Auden Technology was ranked 16th in the “Small Giant” category of the 2024 CommonWealth Magazine “2024 Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” and was also included in the CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award list. This recognition highlights our outstanding performance in environmental sustainability, talent development, and social responsibility. The dual awards demonstrate Auden’s commitment to corporate sustainability and talent cultivation, as well as our continued progress towards green growth and net-zero transformation.
Since its establishment in 2007, the Sustainable Citizen Awards has become an important indicator for evaluating corporate sustainability in Taiwan. In 2015, the awards expanded to include a “Top 100” list and introduced the “Small Giant” category to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to engage in sustainable business practices. Auden was highly recognized by the judges for its performance in corporate governance, corporate commitment, social participation, and environmental sustainability. In 2023, CommonWealth Magazine introduced the “Talent Sustainability Award” to encourage companies to promote talent development, inclusive culture, and fair compensation on the foundation of good governance. Yao Deng’s inclusion in this list also acknowledges our achievements in optimizing the workplace environment and caring for talent.
In terms of corporate governance, Auden has established a Sustainable Development Committee, regularly publishes sustainability reports to enhance transparency and risk management, and implements measures such as board diversification and strengthened cybersecurity.
Regarding corporate commitment, we are dedicated to reducing carbon emissions, requiring suppliers to fulfill social responsibilities, and supporting the development of young people through internship programs. Our health-conscious workplace policies include flexible working hours, health checkup services above legal requirements, and monthly vegetarian days. We also encourage employee development and promote an inclusive and equal workplace culture.
In social participation, Auden has established the “Auden Education Foundation” to promote education and environmental protection projects, and has organized the “Ambition Film Festival” for ten consecutive years, with over 130,000 participants to date. We also run a coffee charity program, offering affordable coffee to employees while supporting underprivileged students in Taoyuan.
On the environmental sustainability front, Auden is committed to reducing environmental impact through carbon footprint management and circular economy practices. We have pledged to use 10% green energy by 2025, with the goal of reaching 100% green energy by 2035.
In June of this year, Auden was awarded the “Best Carbon Disclosure Award” at the “Cathay Shinhan Bank ESG Forum,” underscoring our ongoing efforts in carbon reduction and environmental disclosure. Auden’s Chairman, Zhang Yubin, stated, “Receiving both the ‘Sustainable Citizen Award’ and the ‘Talent Sustainability Award’ is a high recognition of our past efforts. Auden will continue to invest in environmental protection, talent cultivation, and social responsibility, while steadily moving toward our net-zero goals.”
In the future, Auden will continue to strengthen technological innovation and social participation, striving to become a global leader in sustainable development and drive green growth and net-zero transformation. We look forward to collaborating with all sectors of society to create a sustainable future, promoting corporate responsibility, and generating a greater positive impact on both the industry and the environment.
